Our dental clinic uses a digital scanner in place of the traditional putty-like consistency, alginate impressions for restorative treatment like crowns, bridges, veneers, as well as TMJ appliances.
This digital scanner improves our patients comfort and reduces gagging when it comes to creating a digital image for our dental laboratories. This advanced technology allows better communication to our labs which improves accuracy and quality for an ideal final product.
DIGITAL X-RAYS
The Art of Dentistry uses digital X-rays to reduce radiation exposure as well as enhance patient comfort. Digital radiographs produce an immediate image offering optimal imaging which allows our doctors to diagnose dental concerns in their early stages.
CBCT – Cone Beam Computed Tomography scan
Our dental clinic offers the safe and accurate 3D CBCT scan as part of our patient’s individual treatment planning and diagnosing. This scan allows us a 360 degree view of the intricate detail needed for treating root canals, dental implant placement, TMJ disorders and diagnosing trauma and abnormalities of the oral maxillofacial area.
INTRAORAL CAMERA
The intraoral camera is used for high quality photography inside the mouth to improve patient communication. The patients can now see what the clinicians sees upon examination, which enables our patients to make informed treatment decisions.
The magnification of the intraoral camera provides a close up view of findings in the mouth from hairline tooth fractures, failing restorations to soft tissue inconsistencies. We are able to save these photos to our patients charts to compare and evaluate findings at your next visit.
